DCWB Costa Rica 2010
Day 7 - Relax with free time on the beaches of Jaco.
After a fun night souvenir shopping and exploring the town of Jaco, DCWB woke up early to spend the day at the beach and pool! We started out our beautiful day with a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, and of course, rice and beans :) Excited to catch some rays, we ate quickly and ran to the beach! We put our sunscreen on and laid out on the beach in the hot sun, taking breaks to jump in the refreshing Pacific Ocean. A couple of us walked down the beach to rent boogie boards and try surfing!!! The water was great and we had a lot of fun! Unfortunately, the surfing didn't work out so well, but we tried our best! After the beach, we made our way to the hotel to challenge some other vacationers to a volleyball match and relax by the pool. As we were heading inside to get dressed up and ready for dinner, we saw a big iguana lounging on the poolside deck right by our chairs!! After we had freshened up and were ready to go, we took a few taxis into Jaco to eat at a little Italian restaurant where we had some of the most incredible pasta dishes! Then, we spent the remainder of our evening walking around town soaking up the Costa Rican culture. Finally, we returned to our hotel, ready for bed after an amazing day spending time together at the beaches of Jaco!
